GREAT FALLS The Havre Northstars, riding a hot streak at the plate, took the first game of a doubleheader against the Great Falls Stallions' A team 15-5 Wednesday night at Legion Field.
The Northstars, bringing 14 men to the plate in the first, led the second game 11-0 before it was called due to rain.
In the first game, Jared Boyce drove in two in Havre's five-run second inning with an RBI single. Kyle Sheppard followed with a double, scoring two more and giving the Northstars a 7-0 lead.
Havre also batted around in the fourth inning, scoring six runs to take a 14-3 lead. Kellam drove in two runs with an run-scoring single, and Reichelt and Kevin Jurenka also added consecutive RBI singles.
Havre was led by Reichelt, who finished 4-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored, and Kellam, who was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.
