DOLAN SPRINGS, Ariz. Henry Brinkman, 90, died April 26, 2001 at his home in Dolan Springs, Ariz. of natural causes.
Memorial Mass will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Power.
Brinkman was born Dec. 22, 1910, in Canistota, S.D. The family moved to Montana in 1914 and he grew up on the homestead south of Chinook. He graduated from Chinook High School in 1928.
Brinkman married Josephine Hughes in Havre in 1934. He served in the Navy during World War II. They moved from Havre to Fort Benton in 1948. In 1983, they sold their home and traveled for a few years before settling in Dolan Springs.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine Brinkman of Dolan Springs, Ariz.; daughters, Donna Frieling of Dutton and Sharon Widhalm of Power; sons, Donald and Howard Brinkman, both of Dolan Springs; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
