DOROTHY SANCHEZ, Obituary

Dorothy Sanchez, 30, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2001, from multiple injuries sustained in a single car rollover at Wolf Point.

Wake services will begin this evening at St. Paul's Mission Recreation Center and rosary will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday at

the recreation center with burial in the St. Paul's Mission Cemetery.

Sanchez was born June 4, 1971, at Salt Lake City to Ruth (IronMan) and Pedro Sanchez.

She was a cook at Havre Head Start during the school year and worked at the H. Earl Clack Museum for the summer.

Sanchez enjoyed country and western music, and going to powwows and watching her children dance.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Walking Chief, and her father, Pedro Sanchez; adopted parents, Caroline and Charles Gray Boy; adopted sister, Mary Ann Murray.

Survivors include her stepfather, Anthony Sanchez of Havre; close friend, Sherleen Walker of Havre; daughters, Roberta and Clarissa Sanchez of Havre; son, Anthony Sanchez of Havre; sisters, Rose Doney of Hays, Vivian Anderson of Havre, Sandra Norquay of Great Falls, Cheryl Coblyn of East Talmath, Mass.; brothers, Lee Manuel and Kim Norquay Sr., both of Hays, Roberto Sanchez of Flandreau, S.D.; stepbrother, Curtis Walking Chief; adopted sisters, Veronica Bear Cub, Bernadette Lodge, both of Harlem, Helen Talks Different, Jana Gray Boy, Jewell Perry and Mitchaleen Filesteel, all of Fort Belknap; adopted brothers, Charles and Reese Gray of Fort Belknap, Lyndon and Curtis Gray of Rocky Boy, Wesley and Marvin Gray of Havre, Keno The Boy of Havre.

Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook is in charge of arrangements.
