Rodeo schedule announced for weekend

The Montana State University-Northern rodeo team is hosting two rodeos starting tonight at the Hill County Fairgrounds.

The first rodeo begins at 6 p.m. tonight with ten contestants competing in each of the timed events. All rough stock will also compete. The rodeo continues Friday morning at 9 a.m. with all timed events remaining from Thursday finishing. At 7 p.m. Friday the top ten contestants in each event will compete in the short-go round.

The second rodeo begins Saturday at 9 a.m. with all timed event contestants competing, except for ten in each event. Rodeo performance will continue at 6 p.m., in which all rough stock will compete and ten contestants will also compete in each of the timed events.

The second rodeo wraps up Sunday at 11 a.m. with a short-go round featuring the top ten contestants in each event.

Admission prices are $4 for adults and $2 for students in grades 6-12. Children under the age of six are admitted for free. MSU-Northern students will not be charged admission with proof of their current student ID. No admission will be charged for either of the slack competitions, scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
