HMS fund-raiser begins

Havre Middle School students are going into the community to conduct their annual magazine sale fund-raiser.

The money from the magazine sale, the only fund-raiser held outside of the school, helps pay for student activities and improving the school. The money is used for choir concerts, fly-tying classes, Pep Club and cheerleading.

Last year the Student Council bought new rugs for the Middle School foyer with money from the magazine sales, and bought a banner advertising "Mustang Pride," the mascot for the school. The council plans to make payments on new water fountains for the school this year, help the choir program and put on special programs in the morning to build unity in the school.
