LLOYD HOVEE, Obituary

Lloyd N. Hovee, 86, died at a Wyoming hospital on Oct. 2, 2000. Cremation has taken place.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, with pastor Rodney Mruck of the Messiah Lutheran Church officiating at the Highland Cemetery.

Lloyd was born June 2, 1914, in Inverness. He graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula.

He married Jean McNeil on Nov. 24, 1938, in Havre.

Lloyd served in the U.S. Naval Reserve during World War II and achieved the rank of lieutenant. He worked at Ryan's Wholesale Grocery of Havre, also Ryan's Sheridan of Sheridan, Wyo.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, University of Wyoming Cowboy Joe Club, Cheyenne Quarterback Club, State Employees Retirement Group, and was a past president of the Lions Club of Sheridan, Wyo.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Hovee and Stanley Hovee; sister, Agnes Hovee. His brother, Walter Hovee, died last Tuesday at a Chester rest home.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Hovee of Cheyenne.
