Held one weekend after Cleveland's already popular muddy, nutty weekend, the first annual Plainsman Mud Fling gave area mud hounds another excuse to haul out jacked up four-wheel drives and make-shift buggies in their quest of top mud pit honors.
Drivers hauled out four- and two-wheel drives, snowmobiles, four-wheelers and dirt bikes.
A video of the Mud Fling will be shown at the Golden Spike Sunday Oct. 7 at 5 p.m.

Organizers of the Mud Fling are putting together the 1st annual Tractor Pull tenatively set for Oct. 20.
