HELENA Terrance James "Terry" Moriarty, 43, of Helena, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, in an automobile accident west of Helena.
A memorial service will be conducted in Great Falls at a later date. Interment of ashes will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Great Falls.
Terry was born May 28, 1958, in Great Falls to James and Evelyn Moriarty McVay. He attended schools in Great Falls and Helena, followed by the University of Montana in Missoula and the University of Idaho in Moscow.
He was employed at the time of his death as a machinist at Summit Design in Helena.
Terry enjoyed motorcycling, skiing, working on his computer, and spending time with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1997.
Survivors include his mother, Evelyn McVay and stepfather, Pat McVay, of Kalispell; sister, Kathie Newell, and brother-in-law, Pat Newell, of Havre; nephews, Nate Newell of Greensburg, Pa., and Nick Newell of Rapid City, S.D.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Flathead County 4-H Shooting Sports Program, 465 Small Lane, Kalispell, MT 59901.
