Billy Blaine Crouch, 74, died Dec. 3, 2001, at his home of natural causes.
Billy was born in Fort Pierre, S.D., and spent much of his life truck driving. He served in World War II and received a victory medal. He also served in the Korean War, where he was wounded in action and received a purple heart.
Preceding him in death were his parents, James and Barbara Crouch; a son, Jack; his first wife, Mary Chappel; brothers, Joe and Robert Crouch; and a sister, Ida Jacoby.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Havre; a son, Billy Crouch Jr. of Williston, N.D.; a daughter, Kathy Knudson of Apache Junction, Ariz.; stepchildren, Tammy Pike, Nancy Corner, James Smith and Teddy Smith, all of Havre; a brother, John Crouch of Tulsa, Okla.; and sisters, Mary Novak and Waneta Grosser of Cut Bank, May Farrel of Clancy, and Shirley Cummings of Spokane, Wash.; 21 nieces and nephews and several grandchildren.
No church services will be held. Those wishing to pay their respects can do so on Thursday between 1 and 3 p.m. at 1371 Fourth St. N.

Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook is taking care of the cremation.
