The Blue Sky Eagles boys basketball team improved its record to 4-0 Friday night with a 68-59 win over Sunburst.
Blue Sky, which defeated Big Sandy earlier this week, was down 22-19 after the first quarter but outscored the Refiners 19-15 in the second to take a slim 38-37 lead into the half.
Mitch McKinley led the comeback with eight points in the second quarter and finished the game with a team high 23 points. Brent Petrick added six in the quarter and Keenan Toner five. Petrick was the team's second-highest scorer with 16 points and Toner was third with 12.
The Eagles fell behind again in the third quarter, only scoring eight points to Sunburst's 11. But a 22-point outburst in the fourth led Blue Sky to the win.
Petrick led with seven points in the final period of play, followed by McKinley with six and Mike Hutchinson with five. Hutchinson finished with nine points on the game.
Jon Lipp added seven points for the Eagles and Mark Hybner one.
Shaine Tomsheck scored 18 of his 28 points in the first half to lead all scorers. Steve Atlpens followed with 12, Jason Tomsheck six, Mike Sveum and Scott Ross each with five and Jeff Brandon with three.
