Lauren Corcoran is playing in her fifth season for the Rocky Boy Stars volleyball team.
At 5 foot 8, this senior middle blocker adds more than just volleyball talent to her team. Corcoran is a 4.0 student and is involved in Close-Up at Rocky Boy and is student body president.
Corcoran, team captain for three years, led her team last weekend to wins over Heart Butte and Hays-Lodgepole. Against Heart Butte, Corcoran had 13 serve points, nine of which were aces.
"She works exceptionall hard," Rocky Boy head coach Ty Watson said "She's a great inspiration and role model for our younger girls."

Name: Brent Petrick
Class: Senior
School: Blue Sky
Sport: Basketball
Senior Brent Petrick, playing in his fourth varsity season at Blue Sky, has helped guide his team to an undefeated start at 4-0.
In two games last weekend against Big Sandy and Sunburst, Petrick scored a combined 48 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, had six assists and added two steals.
Blue Sky head coach Darrin Hannum said Petrick is "one of those special kids" who "adds a dimension of leadership" to the Eagles.
"He can score from anywhere on the floor," Hannum said. "Any time we have an offensive plan set, he's a threat."
