Individuals can be nominated for the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce's 2001 North Star Award.
The North Star Award is given annually to a person who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to the community through personal and professional achievements and contributions.
Nominations may be sent to the Chamber of Commerce Office at P.O. Box 308, Havre, MT 59501. Nominations are due by Jan. 4. The 2001 North Star Award will be presented at the Chamber's annual meeting on Jan. 18.
The North Star Award was first presented in 1994 to Frank DeRosa. Subsequent winners were Norm Gorder, Fran Buell, Tom Farnham, Dave and Judy Greenwood, Bob Rice and Tom Patrick.
