HELEN GARDINER
ULM Helen Ann (Ness) Gardiner, 64, of Ulm, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001 at a Great Falls nursing home of cancer.
Cremation has taken place. At Gardiner's request, no services are planned.
Gardiner was born Feb. 1, 1936 in Bemidji, Minn. and raised and attended schools in Chinook until 1950. She attended high school in Havre.
She married Milton Johnson in 1952 in Havre. They divorced in 1954. She married Jack Gardiner in 1955 in Havre.
A homemaker, Gardiner lived in Missoula for 10 years and then moved to Great Falls in 1979.
She enjoyed watching television and gardening.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Ness, who died in 1986.
Survivors include her husband of Ulm, daughters, Marcia Durward of Havre and Vikki Gardiner of Great Falls; son, Nick Gardiner of Missoula; sisters, Janice Dzwonkowski of Gilbert, Minn., Karen Lindquist of Nashwauk, Minn. and Sandy Moe of Grand Rapids, Minn.; three brothers, Gene Tardy of Nashwauk, Ken Tardy of Moreno Valley, Calif. and Edwin Moe of Hibbing, Minn.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
O'Connor Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
