Helen McCroskey-Heise, 85, died December 17, 2000, at a Havre hospital of natural causes. Cremation has taken place.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at the Eagles Manor from 1-3 p.m.
Heise was born in Milwaukee, Wis. to William and Nellie Pergande on April 14, 1915. She attended school in Milwaukee and graduated from Milwaukee Downer College in 1937.
Heise married Robert C. McCroskey, M.D. in 1940. They moved to Rapid City, S.D. in 1946 when he was discharged from the Navy. Robert died in 1966, and in 1984 she married William Heise. William died in 1990. She moved to Havre in 1990.
Heise was a teacher and a housewife. She was active in the Rapid City Concert Association and enjoyed cooking, her family and friends, playing bridge, and sports, especially golf.
Heise was preceded in death by her parent; a sister, Dorothy Hintz in 1951; a brother, William in 1966; and a son, William Huston McCroskey in 1967.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Zenor of San Clemente, Calif.; sons, John McCroskey of Brenham, Texas, and Robert C. McCroskey, M.D. of Havre; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
Arrangements are by Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
