JACK HINKLE
Jack Marshal Hinkle, 72, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001 at a Great Falls hospital of lung cancer.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Paulson officiating. Burial of ashes is to follow at the Highland Cemetery.
Hinkle was born Aug. 30, 1928 at Los Angeles, and grew up and lived in Havre. He married Audrey Skinner. She died in 1977. He moved to Great Falls in the fall of 1998.
Hinkle was an Army veteran. He was machinist on the Burlington Northern Railroad for 39 years. He raised and trained thoroughbred race horses with his family.
Hinkle was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Survivors include his daughter, Sandy Hinkle of Hawthorne, Nev.; son, Cliff Hinkle of Great Falls; sisters, Laura Hinkle of Great Falls and Faye Taurman of Centralia, Wash.; brother, Bob Hinkle of Havre.
