Three Havre artists, Carolyn Anderson, Don Greytak, and Kristi Billmayer, will have their work on display at the C.M. Russell Art Show March 21-25 and two, Anderson and Greytak, have also been selected to participate in the auction.
Anderson, who won "best of show" at the 1999 and 2000 show, submitted "Woman in White Robe" for this year's auction. The painting will be lot 57 and it will be auctioned during the Friday night portion of the show.
Greytak's "Milwaukee Road Station, Great Falls, Mt." will be lot 47 in the auction and also be sold on Friday evening.
"The New Horse," also by Greytak, will be auctioned Saturday night.
More than 650 pieces were submitted for judging this year and 300 were selected to participate in the auction, said Billmayer, who like Greytak and Anderson has a display room at the Heritage Inn for her own exhibits.
The public is welcome to view and purchase work by all three local artists at any time during the show.
Iona Schafer, another Havre artist, will be exhibiting her work at the Western Heritage Artist Show at the Holiday Inn in Great Falls.
