Jeffrey Charles Leeds, 47, died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at his homein Havre.
Cremation has taken place.
A prayer vigil will be 7 p.m. Thursday and a memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday. Both will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, with Father Robert
D. Grosch officiating. Fellowship will be held at the KC Hall after the memorial service.
Leeds was born Nov. 20, 1953 in Havre to Dr. Phillip and Patty (Coolen) Leeds. He grew up in Havre and attended St. Jude School. He graduated from Havre High School in 1973.
Leeds worked in the grocery business for years. He began working for Marra Grocery while in high school. He later worked at the commissary at the Havre Air Force Base and other grocery stores in Havre. He was employed at McDonald's in Havre at the time of his death.
Leeds was a member of the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce and served as co-chair of the Havre Pride Project for eight years. He also was the Chamber Ambassador for McDonald's.
He enjoyed cooking, studied Chinese cooking, and volunteered as a cook for the Havre Central Booster Club's Membership Dinner. He also was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending his free time in the Bear Paw Mountains and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Phillip Leeds, Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Patty Leeds of Havre; brothers, Phil Leeds, Jr. of Wenatchee, Wash., John Leeds of Helena, and Mike Leeds, Jim Leeds, Barney Leeds and Bruce Leeds, all of Havre; sisters, Mary Pat Bebee of Havre and Peggy Furhman of Deer Lodge; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
Cause of death is yet to be determined.
