CHINOOK Theresa Mary LaRocque, 72, died at her home in Chinook Friday, April 20, 2001 of natural causes.
Rosary is 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Chinook. Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, with burial in Kuper Memorial Cemetery.
LaRocque was born Feb. 29, 1929 at St. Paul's Mission in Hays to Charles and Evelyn (LaRoque) Turcotte. She attended school there.
She married Joseph LaRocque.
LaRocque was a cook most of her life. She loved to plant flowers in the spring and to tend them.
She was preceded in death by a son and three daughters.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen LaTray of Chinook; sons, Darryle LaRocque and Frank LaRocque, both of Chinook; sister, Bernice Buck of North Pole, Alaska; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
