Havre native Troy Solomon, competing for Montana State University-Bozeman, is in second place after the second go-round in bareback riding at the CRCS rodeo in Bozeman.
Solomon's two-round score is 140, just six points behind Dickinson's Daron Lacina.
MSU-Bozeman's Lauren Kanning, also a Havre native, was third in the second go-round in breakaway roping with a time of 2.6 seconds.
