Three camp outs planned for summer, too

Havre's Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon groups are hosting a two-day mini conference There is a Solution June 29 and 30.
The Havre Mini Conference, scheduled for the First Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, will begin with registration at 7 p.m. Friday, June 29. A candlelight meeting is slated for 8 p.m.
A continental breakfast will get things rolling Saturday morning. A full day of meetings and workshops is planned.
The Saturday banquet will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Featured speakers for the banquet are Aggie C. of Butte, Al-Anon, and Tom A. of Drumheller, Alberta, AA.
Music will follow the speakers.
Preregistration is $16 per person. The cost will be $20 at the door. Tickets for the banquet only are $6.
For more information, call the AA hotline at 262-3931 or ask any AA or Al-Anon member. Preregistration forms are available at the Alano Club on U.S. Highway 2 East in Havre. Preregistration may be mailed to Seanna G. at 1116 Eighth Ave., Havre, MT 59501.
The 12-step recovery groups in Havre also are planning three camp outs in Beaver Creek Park this summer. Those camp outs will be:
June 15-17 at GN Campground;
July 20-22 at Firefighters Campground;
Aug. 17-19 at Lions Camp-ground.
All 12-step program members, families and friends are welcome to the three camp outs.
