DES MOINES, Wash. Gertrude M. Midge, 82, died Thursday, June 14, 2001 in Des Moines, Wash.
Memorial services are 3 p.m. Saturday at Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn, Wash.
Midge was born Oct. 2, 1918 in Terry and lived in South King County, Wash. for 37 years. She was married to Lester Midge, an electric tech instructor at Green River Community College before his death in 1988.
Midge was a registered nurse. She was a member of Auburn Youth Resources and was active in Girl Scouts.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing.
Survivors include her sons, Mel Midge of Thailand and Murry Midge of Kent, Wash.; daughter, Lorelei Voda of Seattle; brother, Herb Brosz of Helena; sister, Esther Propp of Worden; two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society or the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Price-Helton Funeral Home.
