Practices for all fall sports for the Havre Middle School begin on Wednesday, Aug. 29 immediately after school.
Cross country practice starts at 3:05 p.m. and all girls in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades are eligible to participate. The parent meeting for cross country is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 30 at 4:00 in the middle school assembly room. Kari Filius will be coaching the teams this fall.
Practice for eighth grade girls basketball is slated to begin at 3:10 p.m. on Aug. 29. Practice for the eighth grade team will run until 5 p.m., while the seventh grade team practices from 4:30-6:30. The girls basketball parent meeting will be at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30 in the assembly room.
Football practice also begins Wednesday for seventh and eighth grade boys. Football gear will be handed out to the eighth grade team after school, and the seventh grade team will be able to pick up their gear afterwards. The seventh grade team should be done getting their gear between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The parent meeting for football is set for 6 p.m. on Aug. 30 in the assembly room.
All athletes must have their physical forms completed and turned into the office in order to practice.
