KG's Aaron Smith ran to a first place finish, dusting second place finisher Nat Iron Heart of Heart Butte by just three seconds in the Havre Invitational Saturday.
Smith finished with a time of 16:07.5, while Iron Heart came in at 16:10.9.
Other area runners placing in the top twenty include Kyle Raining Bird of Harlem with a 6th place 16:58.7, Kasey Barsotti of the Havre Independent boys with a 10th place 17:05.8, and KG runners Justus Wendland 15th at 17:33.5 and Deven Donaven 19th at 17:38.7.
