DPPHS director in Havre today

Gail Gray, director of Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, is the featured speaker at District IV Human Resources Development Council's community center open house tonight.

Tom Bolan, director of HRDC, said Gray was scheduled to arrive in Havre at noon today to meet with community members to discuss DPHHS programs and services and local needs. A luncheon for Gray to meet with local community leaders and citizens was set at Wolfer's Diner at noon. Gray is to spend the afternoon meeting people in the area.

Gray's speech is scheduled for 7 p.m. at HRDC, 2229 Fifth Ave., during the open house, which will run from 4 to 8 p.m. with refreshments and tours. HRDC moved into the former Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd on the south edge of Havre this summer.

Bolan said Gray will speak about the different programs in DPHHS and changes in those programs. He said HRDC asked her to specifically address how DPHHS programs work in rural areas like the Hi-Line.
