Lillian Spinler Beatty, 67, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001, at a Great Falls hospital of natural causes.
Prayer vigil is 7 p.m. Sunday at Holland and Bonine Funeral Home. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday at St. Jude Catholic Church with Fr. Robert D. Grosch
officiating. Burial is to follow at the Highland Cemetery.
Lillian was born Sept. 30, 1934, to Joseph and Frances (Pester) Spinler at Hingham. She was educated at Hingham.
On Jan. 4, 1955, Lillian married Don Beatty at Havre.
She loved her home and family. Her family was important to her and she spent her time doing things for them. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, reading and playing cards. She spent many weeks every year making Christmas candies and cookies to give to her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She always had a smile and was quick to find good and positive in all people. She was always quick to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it and had such zest and enthusiasm for life and all things she did. She believed in the power of prayer and spent many, many hours praying for all her family and friends.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances Spinler; son, Steve Beatty; sister, Rosalie Spinler; granddaughter, Jessica McKeever.
Survivors include her husband, Don Beatty of Havre; children, Susan (and husband, Duane) McKeever of Havre, Karen (and husband, Jonathon) Redlin of Lambert; Don Beatty of Havre; Mary (and husband, Bud) Heitman; brothers, Victor Spinler and Gilbert Spinler, both of Havre, and Benjamin "Ben" Spinler of Hingham; four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 510 First Ave., Great Falls, MT 59401; Juvenile Diabetes Fund, or a donor's choice.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
