Havre's Community Concert Association said it hopes people are not confused by the parking at Wednesday's Manhattan Rhythm Kings concert.
The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Havre High School auditorium, 30 minutes after the scheduled end of the day's games in the District 9-C girls basketball divisional tournament. Many cars might be leaving the parking lot as people arrive to attend the concert.
The Rhythm Kings, a harmony group that performs popular music from the '20, '30s and '40s, are coming to Havre from their Community Concert performance in Butte tonight. Their schedule includes community concerts in Great Falls on Thursday and Helena on Friday, and a concert in Seattle with their friend Tommy Tune on Saturday.
Tune gave the Rhythm Kings their break into show business when he saw them performing on the sidewalks of New York, where they formed the group in 1980. In 1984 Tune had the group help him assemble an act, and their collaboration has continued through the last 17 years.
The Havre concert is open only to Community Concert members. Newcomers to town may call 265-4223.
