Cooking demonstrations continue at Heritage Center

The Heritage Center had such a good response to its holiday cooking demonstration last week that it's having a repeat on Wednesday.

"It was a good turnout. We had a full room," said Gary Wilson of the Heritage Center Foundation board.

The demo, sponsored by the foundation and the Havre Albertson's, is limited to the first 20 reservations. Diane Blythe and Teresa Echelard of Albertson's demonstrated cooking chicken cordon bleu and artichoke crab spread last week, and will demonstrate cooking turkey tetrazzini this week.

The demonstration will be held at 7 p.m. in the foundation board room on the second floor of the Heritage Center. Albertson's provides a sample bag of products free to the people at the event and a door prize, Wilson said.

Holiday customs and traditions will be discussed during the presentation.

He added that because of the response, the foundation and Albertson's are discussing starting a monthly cooking demonstration at the Heritage Center.

Wednesday's demonstration is free. Call 265-7258 to make reservations.
