BELT Carolynne Yvonne "Happy" Mann, 59, a registered nurse, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at her home in Belt of cancer.
A memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Croxford and Sons Rose Room in Great Falls. Cremation will take place.
Mann was born in Minot, N.D., June 10, 1942, to Leonard and Goody Gorseth. She was raised in Havre and graduated from Havre High School. She attended Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash., for two years and graduated from Montana State University-Bozeman with a degree as a registered nurse.
She married John Carl Mann Jr. in 1972 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
She worked as a registered nurse from 1970 to 1996, starting at Deaconess Hospital in Great Falls and continuing at Columbus Hospital, Cascade County Nursing Home and Park Place Health Care Center. She was night supervisor at both County and Park Place.
She was member of the Montana Nursing Association and enjoyed bowling, camping, crafting (macrame and quilting) and always loved having family and friends around.
She was preceded in death by her parents of Great Falls; brother, Lowell Gorseth of Billings; and a son, Kevin.
Survivors include her husband of Belt; son, Jeff Mann of Belt; daughters, Sheree (Jamie) Nelson of Great Falls and Heather Mann of Chesapeake, Va.; brother, Mark Gorseth of Missoula; sister-in-law, Bev Chafin of Great Falls; brother-in-law, Bill Chafin of Great Falls; one nephew; two nieces; three grandchildren; and special friends, Kim and Tonya Merryman of Belt.
Arrangements are by the Croxford and Sons Funeral Home.
