The ninth annual car show will be held in Great Falls at
the State Fairgrounds in the Trades and Industry Building
March 9,10, and 11.
The show will feature hot rods, commercial vendors,
customs, hot wheels cars and classics. The show promises all
new cars and entries this year with no repeats from last
year's show.
This ninth annual car show will also feature the 2001 Grand
National Roadster winning 1933 Ford. Galen Bredeson, who
organizes the show, said that two entries from Havre are
already expected. Chauncey Steinmetz will be showcasing his
1960 T-Bird convertible, while Frank Morris will be
polishing up his 1952 Buick for the show.
"That car could be shown anywhere in the world," Bredeson
said of Morris' Buick.
Show times are Friday, March 9, 4-10 p.m.; Saturday, March
10, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.; and Sunday, March 11, 10 a.m. - 5
p.m. Admission for adults is $5, children under 12 get in
free.
Exhibitors will be allowed in the building one hour prior
to show time. Set up times for exhibitors are Thursday,
March 8, noon through 10 p.m. and Friday, March 9, 8 a.m.
through noon. Cash awards will be given for display. Top ten
awards will be chosen by exhibitors and best paint and best
use of color awards will be chosen by Auto Color.
