GREAT FALLS Georgeline Black, 73, died Wednesday, March 14, 2001 at her home in Great Falls of natural causes.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at O'Connor Memorial Chapel in Great Falls with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Black was born Georgeline Peltchie July 23, 1927 in Canada. She attended schools in Harlem and Chinook.

She married Paul Little Sun. They divorced in 1968 and she married Melvin Black in Havre on Feb. 14, 1985. They moved to Great Falls about 1990.

Black was an accomplished cook and a one-time owner of the Glacier Cafe in Havre.

She was a member of the New Hope Christian Church in Great Falls.

Black enjoyed collecting knickknacks, fishing, sewing, beadwork, playing bingo and keno, and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Paul Little Sun.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Black of Great Falls; daughters, Sherry Little Sun of Great Falls and Geraldine Cole of Gladwin, Mich.; sons, Erwin Little Sun of Rocky Boy, Charles Black of Dearborn, Marvin Black of Forest Grove, Ore. and Gerald Black of Converse, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to New Hope Christian Church in Great Falls.
