The Hill County Democratic Central Committee held an election of officers Tuesday during its regular monthly meeting.
Election results are:
Debi Friede Chairwoman,
Vice Chairman Mike Anderson,
Rural Vice Chairwoman Virginia Wells,
Secretary Patsy Shelden,
Treasurer Carrie Dickson,
State Committeeman Walt Dion,
State Committeewoman Nora Nelson,
State Committeeman, First Alternate Lyle Lossing,
State Committeewoman, First Alternate Emily Lossing,
State Committeeman, Second Alternate Warren Tayler,
State Committeewoman, Second Alternate Pauline Petersen,
Congressional Committeeman Frank Hays,
Congressional Committeewoman Rose Goar.
Ray Peck, a multi-term legislator in the Montana House of Representatives and vice chairman of the local party announced he would not seek, and would not accept, nomination for another term as vice chairman of the party. Pecks wife, Betty, also declined to be nominated for another term as State Committeewoman.
All of the candidates accepting nomination were elected unanimously.
