Chinook High School has announced the names of its music students who have qualified for the State Solo and Ensemble Festival in Missoula, May 4-5.
There were 24 Chinook students who participated in the District 7 Music Festival in Cut Bank April 21, under the direction of Rhonda Minnick. Students who received superiors at the adjudicated event were invited to the state festival.
Aaron Hayes qualified in five events. Christy Baker, Kent Hansen, Andrew Hayes and Julie Schellin qualified in three events; Heather Bissailon, Savanna Brown, Julianna Hellman, Kris Horsley, Cassie Jergeson, Deven Johnson, Jessica Kauffman, Kim Bryson and Katelynne Sharples qualified in two; Tammy Aipperspach, Jennifer Hellman, Josh Kauffman, Shannon Kellam, Elizabeth Long, Anna Schellin and Susan Thackery qualified in one event.
