Tim Peterson, 50, died Friday, May 4, 2001 at a Great Falls hospital due to heart failure.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m.

Tuesday at the Immanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Moody officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, with fellowship afterwards at Immanuel Baptist.

Peterson was born March 30, 1951 to Vern and Marjory (Wolf) Peterson in Pender, N.D. The family moved to Havre in the fall of 1967. He attended Havre High School and entered the U.S. Army in July 1969.

He served as a heavy equipment operator in the Army for two years. After his discharge, he returned to Havre. He worked for the City of Chinook for 15 years and recently was employed with the Townhouse Inns in Havre.

He enjoyed camping, fishing and working on his pickup.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vern Peterson in 1981.

Survivors include his mother, Marjory Senner of Havre; son, Charles Peterson of Havre; daughter, Meagan Peterson of Havre; brothers, Alan Peterson and Terry Peterson, both of Havre, and Dan Peterson of West Lake Village, Calif.; sisters, Nina Gaspari of Agaua Hills, Calif. and Diana Monaghan of Vancouver, Wash.

Memorials may be made to a donor's choice.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
