ROCK SPRINGS, Pa. Viola Victoria Earl, 79, died May 6, 2001 at a Rock Springs, Pa. hospital of natural causes.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Havre. Cremation has taken placed.
Earl, Nee Viola Bahnmiller, was born Sept. 21, 1921 in Big Sandy. She was raised and educated there and graduated from Big Sandy High School in 1939.
She married Wilbur Earl on Jan. 21, 1946 in Big Sandy. He died in 1998.
Earl worked as a bookkeeper for the Hill County Road Department until she retired.
She was a member of the Havre Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She enjoyed gardening, crafts, fishing and playing cards with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur Earl; son, Wesley Earl.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Cox of Great Falls and Charlotte Price of Martinsburg, Pa.; son, Russell Earl of Havre; sisters, Ann Becker of Cut Bank and Clara Bahnmiller of Great Falls; brother, Ervin Bahnmiller of Puyallup, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
