Helen Marie Buck, 73, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at a Great Falls nursing home of an extended illness.
A family vigil service will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Benton Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Saint Margarets Catholic Church in Geraldine.
Burial will be in the Geraldine Cemetery.
Buck was born Sept. 1, 1927 to Earl A. and Gertrude Fay Brewer of Geraldine.
She married Dexter Buck in 1945. They purchased a farm outside Geraldine in the fall of 1962 and remained there until their retirements.
Upon retirement, she moved to Great Falls and worked for Easter Seals. In 1995, she moved to Havre and bought the Fairview Trailer Park that she managed until her death.
Buck enjoyed gardening and crocheting, visiting with friends and traveling with her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wally Brewer Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Dexter Buck; children, Ginger Zanto of Havre, Dexter Buck Jr. of Chinook, Vickey Jurgens of Portland, Ore., Michael Buck of Seattle, Kathy Linse of Bozeman and Rene Haag of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters, Betty Stephenson, Bernice Beck and Marge Salo, all of Great Falls, and Alberta Grefsrud of Durango, Colo.; 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Great Falls Hospice.
