CHRISTINA MILLER, Obituary

CHINOOK Christina Sophia Miller, 84, died Thursday, June 7, 2001 at her home in Conrad of cancer.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Zion Lutheran Church with burial following in the Kuper Memorial Cemetery.

Miller was born Nov. 16, 1916 to Henry and Alvina (Struve) Hofeldt 13 miles south of Lloyd. She attended various country schools in the Bear Paw Mountains and graduated from Chinook High School in 1937.

She married Harold Henry Miller on June 17, 1939 in Chinook. They ranched in the Bear Paw Mountains until 1945, when they moved seven miles west of Harlem. They farmed and ranched there until 1975.

They retired seven miles south of Columbia Falls until 1995, when they moved to Conrad.

Miller was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marguretha; brother, Roy.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Miller of Conrad; sons, Lee Miller of Chinook and Fred Miller of Harlem; daughter, Sharon Parks of Conrad; sister, Hilda Drugge of Chinook; brothers, Paul, Hans, Ben and Lawrence Hofeldt, all of Chinook; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
