Solomon moves to 22nd at CNFR

CASPER, Wyo. Montana State University-Bozeman rodeo standout Troy Solomon, a Havre native, improved to 22nd overall in bareback riding at the College National Finals Rodeo.

Solomon recorded a score of 72 in the second-go Tuesday to climb 10 spots up the standings. His total after two rounds is 131.

His teammate, Andy Bolich, had a rodeo-best score of 76 to earn 80 points for his team and move into third overall in the points standings with a total of 147.5.

Clint Evers of Fort Scott C.C. still holds the overall lead with 151.5 points, and Western Texas College's Trevor LaValley is in second with 148.5.
