A memorial service is planned Saturday for Donna Lee Common, 57, who died of cancer Jan. 6, 2001 at her home in Lacey, Wash.
Pastor Steven Felton will officiate at the service 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bear Paw Mountains. The turn off is on the right about 11 miles south on Beaver Creek Road. Watch for signs.
Common was born Aug. 26, 1943 in Anchorage, Alaska to Donald and Lillian (Levine) Felton. She was raised in Havre and went to school here. She married Dennis Dittmer in 1962. They later divorced. She married John Common on Dec. 24, 1990. Common spent most of her adult life caring for seniors in and around Lacey, Wash.
Common was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Felton; son, Johnathan Common. Survivors include her husband, John Common of Lacey; son, David Dittmer of Lacey; daughter, Debra Stolle of Moses Lake, Wash.; father and stepmother, Donald and Clara Felton of Hamilton; brothers, Robert Felton of Havre and Pastor Steven Felton of Kansas City, Kan.; sisters, Lillian Sebey and Annie Bulman of Havre; Kathy Subry of Helena and Sally McAuley of Bonnie Lake, Wash.; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
