HARLEM William Edward Hay III, 28, of Portland, Ore., died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at a Portland hospital of complications from testicular cancer.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service was today in Harlem Cemetery.
Hay was born Dec. 21, 1972 in Fort Belknap to William E. "Butch" Hay and Karen K. Hay. He attended school in Harlem, Zurich and Chinook. He moved to Portland with his father eight years ago.
Hay enjoyed spending time with his daughter, music, skateboarding, mountain biking, going to car shows
with his father and fishing with his grandfather.
He loved animals and raised flop-eared rabbits, dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish.
Survivors include his daughter, Alexandria
Stanley Hay of Gresham, Ore.; father, William E. "Butch" Hay of Gresham; mother, Karen K. Hay of Sheridan, Wyo.; grandparents, Bill and Betty Hay of Harlem; great-grandmother, Lillian Lafountain of Washington state.
Adams Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of local arrangements.
