Robert J. Dolan, 82, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001, at a Havre hospital of an apparent heart attack.
Vigil services will be 7 p.m. Sunday in St. Gabriel's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be recited at 11 a.m. on Monday. Burial will follow with military honors in the Kuper Memorial Cemetery.
Dolan was born April 12, 1919 at Lloyd to Joseph and Lillian (Evans) Dolan. He attended Lloyd school and graduated from Chinook High School in 1937. He worked at the Sugar Beet Factory in Chinook until entering the U.S. Army on March 16, 1942.
Dolan received his honorable discharge from the Army on Nov. 27, 1945, and went to work for the PCA in Chinook.
He married Julia Sattleen in Chinook on Nov. 30, 1948. He continued to work for PCA, where he became manager and then president. He retired in 1984.
Dolan was an active member of the Chinook Chamber of Commerce, Eagles Club, VFW and Chinook Lions Club.
Memorials may be made to the Gift of Life Housing in Great Falls or to the donor's choice.
