Mary "PD" Pauline Denley, 83, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at a Havre care center of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place. Burial of ashes will be in a private family service at a later date.
Denley was born Dec. 8, 1917, to Thomas Aquinas and Grace (Beedy)
Denley at Bemidji, Minn. She graduated from high school in Virginia, Minn.
She moved to Seattle and worked for several hospitals in the area from 1944 until her retirement in 1977.
Denley enjoyed sporting events and worked as an usher at the King Dome in her free time. She moved from Seattle to Eagles Manor in Havre in 1996 to be close to her family. She moved to the Northern Montana Care Center in May 2001 for health reasons.
She was an active member of United Methodist churches in Minneapolis and Seattle. She enjoyed her job as a nurse's aide.
Denley collected clocks, crosses and antiques.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dorothy Bitz in 2000; brother, Donald Alton Denley, in 1967.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Bitz of Big Sandy; brother, Thomas A. Denley of Box Elder; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to a donor's choice.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
