Help! Help! Help! That's what is needed for the annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner. It will be held at St. Jude's social hall next Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Have you secretly always wanted to take after Emeril and cook a Thanksgiving dinner for 600? If so, now is your chance and without even having to leave Havre, Montana.
Or if cleaning up for 600 people is your thing, well, there's plenty of room for you too.
Community Thanksgiving Dinner organizers are looking for cooks, dishwashers, home delivery people, help with cleanup, along with help in the dining room and serving line.
If none of those jobs are your thing, don't give up just yet.
Like to play your ukulele and sing "You Are My Sunshine" for 600 people? Or how about your Eddy Arnold impressions? Or you say you can do a beautiful rendition of "Mares Eat Oats" on your harp? You are needed!
Head cook and bottle washer Lita Thisselle tells why.
"We really need entertainment at the dinner. If you have a group or can sing or anything, just show up that morning or afternoon," she said.
Call 265-9423 if you can help out.
