The Havre Church of Christ has a full-time minister for the first time in many years.
The Rev. Bill Moses accepted the position of minister in May and began his duties here on Dec. 1.
Moses is from San Antonio, Texas. He is a graduate of the Sunset International Bible Institute of Lubbock, Texas, and completed an 18-month internship with the Durango Church of Christ in Durango, Colo.
Gordon Naylor, a preacher from the Great Falls Church of Christ, has been commuting every Sunday for the past seven years to deliver the Sunday morning sermon at the Havre church.
The Havre church began in the late 1950s. The congregation now consists of three young families, three older couples and a number of single people.
Average attendance is 25 in the summer and 21 during winter, Moses said.
Moses is married and has three children.
