Things are cooking at the Heritage Center in Havre.
In a continuation of cultural activities sponsored by the Heritage Center Foundation, the center will host a holiday cooking demonstration Wednesday in partnership with the local Albertson's.
Diane Blythe and and Teresa Echelard of Albertson's will demonstrate cooking chicken cordon bleu and artichoke crab spread, with samples for the audience.
"Bring your appetite," said foundation board member Gary Wilson.
Havre Mayor-elect Bob Rice, an electrician, has volunteered his time to wire the second-floor board room at the Heritage Center for the demonstration.
The presentation will include a discussion of Christmas traditions.
Albertson's is providing free sample bags of supplies for the audience.
The demonstration is free and space is limited to the first 20 people who make reservations.
Wilson said if there is enough demand, another session will be scheduled, and the event could become a monthly activity at the center.
