Paul "Rocky" Smith, 66, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001, at his residence in Havre due to a heart attack.
Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
Rocky was born Feb. 4, 1935 to Paul S. and Olive E. (Jarvis) Smith in Daleville, Ind. He was educated in Daleville. He worked in Texas and various other states and then ended up in Havre. He worked various jobs ranching, building bridges, oil rigs, and seismographing. He was a volunteer at the Salvation Army for many years, and did odd jobs for people in the Havre and Chinook communities.
He enjoyed fishing and planting flowers around the house.
Rocky was preceded in death by his parents, Paul S. and Olive E. (Jarvis) Smith.
He is suvived by his wife, Josephine Briere Smith of Havre.
Memorials in Rocky's honor may be made to a person's choice.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
