Peggy Ann Whitworth, 75, Columbia Falls, passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at a Whitefish hospital.
She was born on Jan. 30, 1926 to Art and Selina Brown in Great Falls. On Sept. 28, 1946, she married
Charles Whitworth.
They lived in Havre until 1984, when they moved to Whitefish. They moved to Columbia Falls in the last year.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Charles Whitworth, at the family home in Columbia Falls; daughter, Dian (Bob) Lewallen of Norman, Okla.; sons, Ron (Beth) Whitman of Billings, Lowell Whitworth of Tacoma, Wash.; daughters, Judy (Evan) Vervick of Fairfield, Shawn Whitworth of Missoula; sisters, Barbara West of Great Falls and Lucille McQuaid of Burlington, Wash.; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Whitefish, with the Rev. Gene Speer officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Montana Senior Citizen Association of Helena or the Salvation Army.
Austin Funeral Home in Whitefish is in charge of the arrangements.
