The Bureau of Indian Affairs at Rocky Boy's Agency will conduct a secretarial election on March 6 on the Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation.
The purpose of the secretarial election will be to amend the Chippewa Cree Tribe's constitution and bylaws. There will be four proposed amendments involving six different sections of the constitution.
All Chippewa Cree tribal members 18 years of age and older on March 6 will be eligible to vote provided they register. Registration forms can be picked up at the field representative office, BIA, Rocky Boy's Agency. Registration forms can also be requested by mail.
