Senior guard Mike Frey capped off an outstanding high school career last weekend, guiding his team to a fourth-place finish at the Central A Divisonal Boys Basketball Tournament in Great Falls.
Frey played his best game of the tournament Saturday morning as the Ponies defeated Butte Central to advance to the consolation game. Frey had 16 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals in the game.
On the weekend, Frey averaged 10.5 points per game, over five rebounds per game, nearly four assists and three steals.
"He's really had a great year for us," Havre coach Mark West said. "He's put in a lot of time. He's pretty steady. He kept everybody together throughout the season, he kept everybody going."

Senior Cassidy Han of Blue Sky High School helped guide her Eagles team to wins last weekend over Big Sandy and KG, each in three games, as well as Monday night over J-I in three games.
In the wins over Big Sandy and KG, Han led the team in kills and blocks, adding a perfect serve percentage Saturday with three aces.
"Cassidy is a very intelligent player who is always pushing herself to be better," coach Jen Dahlke said. "She is an all-around court player capable of outside, middle and back row hitting as well as setting the ball from wherever she is on the court. She is very intuitive and reads the ball and the opposing team extremely well."
In last night's win over J-I, Han led the team with eight kills and four aces.
