Top speller is recognized at Hill County spelling bee

Rob Holme, a sixth-grader at Havre Middle School, qualified this week as top speller at the 2002 Hill County Spelling Bee.

Holme correctly spelled gratitude and overwhelmed to capture first place.

Spellers in grades five through eight competed at the 37th annual bee, held Tuesday at Havre Middle School.

Holme will represent Hill County at the state spelling bee on April 6 in Billings.
