The Democratic Women of Hill County will hold their annual dinner at the VFW Club at 338 Second St. on April 27. A social hour will begin at 4:30 p.m. This social hour is considered the best time to visit with the Democratic candidates in attendance. Dinner will start at 5:30 p.m.
Brad Martin, longtime executive director of the Montana Democratic Party, will be the main speaker. All local and visiting candidates on the Democratic ticket who have opponents in the primary or general election will also be provided time to speak. Public Service Commission candidate Greg Jergeson will be present as will legislative candidates Sen. Jon Tester, Jonathan Windy Boy, Gary Gollehon, Art Kleinjan, Kim Hansen and Bob Bergren. Candidates for county offices also will attend.
Tickets for the dinner are $12 each for adults and $6 for students. Tickets can be secured from any club member or by calling 265-7290 or 265-4908. Reservations can be made by e-mailing rbpeck@hi-line.net.
